i've been emailing with a guy that's going to tape the Eindhoven show. hopefully both AUD and SBD. would love to hear a show from the tour after seeing
all the vlogs

I think thats popmarter.. I spoke to him as well and he's at the Eindhoven show.
I will be at all 3 dutch shows as well and I am a taper, but unless I can get a SBD patch, I probably wont tape..

Alrighty, just got back from the show in Amsterdam.
It seems the euro tour is Brett, Solo and Randy.. the three of them Show was pretty good, but the crowd was a little lame and was shouting random stuff. lol He played a new song and Ain't Gonna Lose You went into a great improv (partly instumental) Recorded the show from soundboard, and from what I've heard it sounds pretty good. Chad totally hooked me up (soundguy told me no, but chad helped me out hehe) Off to bed now. Still 2 more shows to go (tomorrow and day after) so I doubt the recording(s) will be up on LMA before next week Btw. Chad told me the new song can be posted to the LMA

Ok crap. The recording has a (small) reverb on Brett's voice mic. Not too bad when he's just singing, but at some parts in the recording it's quite
noticeable.
I'm pretty sure it's cause of the new desk they had. The soundguy told me he had to work on the routing. There is probably little I can do about this, so I will just be releasing the recording like this. Very listenable, just not A+ cause of the reverb.
//edit: Actually, you can't really hear it during songs.. It's just during talking or sing-a-longs

Ok back from show #2. great show, but imo yesterday was better.
Setlist was really mixed up. No She's Mine and no The One Who Loves You The Most.. Blessed was back tonight and was imo the best song of the night. Two wicked long solo's (both by jon and by randy). Randy's solo was just crazy.. all lights out (except randy's) and he was really on top of his game. Again a new song, which was more upbeat and happier then yesterday's new song. we did drinks with randy and solo afterwards, which was fun (apart from the security lady telling us to leave; and solo was like: are you kiding me? We just played here lol) Show got taped both mics and soundboard, gonna do a matrix so this recording should be gooooood yay

Btw, Bas told me there was a THIRD taper at the show tonight (which he saw walking around).. but we're guessing he was just using edirol w/ internal mics,
so no way that recording is gonna be as good as ours
hehehe

yes, 3rd taper but he did not tape the whole show. He was standing on wrong spot anyway so probably can't beat in terms of quality.
nice show in utrecht (my first), with Brett having a real birthdayparty with chocolate letters! |

(my) last night is over. We recorded mics + soundboard again tonight
Good show tonight, but really lame audience.. They kept talking throughout the first 3 songs until Brett basically gave them a small speech about how they had to leave/move to the back if they were gonna talk all night. After that they shut up lol Setlist was average, but Just Like The Moon was a nice variation to previous setlists.. Also By And By and Someday were nice to hear The "new" song today was Frozen in Slowmotion, which he performed solo, but that one obviously isnt really that new. Bas will be at the Groningen show (saturday) by himself, cause I got a Bushwalla houseshow at my place. Have fun, buddy! Except all the tapes to be online sometime next tuesday or wednesday. Off to bed now. Night
